Every team will be allocated a Manager.  The role of Manager is a volunteer position and may be shared with one or more parents of the team members.


In Open Grade the role of manager is usually filled by a player from that team.  


The role of manager is to:

  • Support the Coach ( particularly if the coach is a student coach) 

  • Be the main point of contact for the team

  • Communicate with the team by What App Team Group regarding training, matches, cancellations, upcoming byes etc.

  • Roster other parents to help with training attendance, scoring and ground duties - it is everyone's job to help the team! 

  • Collect the team’s kit bag prior to the team’s first training session and return to the Equipment co-ordinator by the end of the season

  • Ensure the kit bag is at all training sessions and games

  • Game day team administrative procedures including sign-on for team members and the submission of final scores to KNA.

  • Ensure that all COVID-19 requirements as set are met as appropriate if applicable.
